Greetings!
As you may know, at City Art Project, WE LOVE THE ARTS! With that in mind, we are trying to expand City Art's mission to include performing arts, indie film, local music and performance art through the launch of our little black box theatre we are calling the indie BOX! As you also know, this is a tough time for the arts, so we are working on a shoestring to make this thing work. We are hoping to purchase a digital video projector, DVD player, some basic audio equipment, lighting, and some paint to make this dream come alive. To help us raise some much needed money to make this work, we made up some groovy shirts that you can purchase through our Cafepress store (http://www.cafepress.com/cityartproject)! In addition, anybody who purchases one of our shirts will also receive 4 ticket vouchers to be used to come to any of our screenings or live productions for the 2010 season.
What kinds of productions can you expect to see at our little theatre? Here is what we are currently working on:

Local musician songwriter circle hosted by Kristine Jackson
Cutting edge black box theatre
and of course a fine selection of independent and art films!
